Since I was already home with dd sick today, I also brought Quinton to the vet for his ear which has been red and irritated. At first it seemed to clear up but when it came back I couldn’t get rid of it. I was thinking it was allergies, but luckily it was just a little ear infection, on the outer ear only, most likely caused from having wet ears still after a tubby. I try to dry them but those lil pug ears are tricky!
Anyways, I digress! It was all good news. He’s lost a pound since his last visit! Go Quinton! All that playing with lil brother Pauly has paid off! The doctor had nothing but rave reviews to say about him and both the vet and the nurse both gooed and gaaahed over my lil munchkin! It was nice. hehe The only part Quinny didn’t like was that he had a shot for Lyme vaccine. Boy did he jump up in the air!
And when we came home, it was too cute! Pauly had been crying at the door the whole 40 minutes we were gone! LOL Those two brothers are inseparable. I don’t know how they ever weren’t a family! Hehe

Now that my work day is over, I can say that today was much better than yesterday and tonight has great potential too! This is the first night since Thanksgiving that my husband will be home and not working as of about 6:30! I’m not sure what we are going to do but it’s definitely going to be some sort of family night. Everyone has been missing Daddy! And I bet that I will sleep a lot better tonight having him home at a normal hour. He’s been getting home around 10:30 which is partly the reason I’m having trouble sleeping I’m sure. As much as I hate to admit dependence on him LOL, after 13 years of marriage it tends to happen. I’m used to having him in bed, even if I can’t reach him through my protective mountain of pups!
The only thing that doesn’t sound great but is really necessary is that I get off my buttocks soon and go grocery shopping! I mean we had eggs and pancakes last night becasuse the fridge and cupboards are bare…it’s time! Grocery shopping is my least favorite chore. I’d say my favorite chore is laundry. I especially like Spring and Summer when I can hang clothes out on the line while hearing the birds chirp and smelling that fresh air. There is just something so refreshing about that.
Totally off topic! My body is just falling apart like Mrs. Potatoe Head! Last night I lost another nose ring and when I tried to put another in, I was unsuccessful and ended up with a really sore, bright red nose! Therefore, I’m sad to say that the era of Gwen with a nose ring may be gone forever. These holes tend to close up quick like.
And for the first time in my life! I’ve had a wart on my hand for a few weeks now! Grody to the Max! Well I bought some lil sticky things to put on it that is supposed to get rid of it. I think it’s working but now my skin is all rough and peely there. I want my normal, smooth hands back! And talking about hands, my do mine look old!! They seem to be the first part of my body to really wrinkle up and my finger joints are starting to enlarge with arthritis like my Mom’s and Gram’s. When I look at my own hands, it’s like looking at my Mom’s hands when I was young. I don’t know why and this sounds odd as I type it, but I can remember my Mom’s hands vividly.
Well enough rambling for now.
Have a Wickety Wack Wednesday!

Here in NY it is chilly and there is nothing better after a cold day out of the house than cuddling with my three pups! They’re the best lil feet warmers! Ritualistically after I get home from work, I get out my lap top and sit on my bed to do some blogging. On the cold days I pull up the covers and the doggies always scramble to get under the comforter too. I have two pugs and one old lady boston terrier. All three of them are surrounding my legs and it feels sooo snuggly and warm!
Better than hot cocoa!
Better than an electric blanket!
Better than slippers!
I love my diggity dogs!
